About the Team:
The Short Drama Team is a dynamic and forward-thinking team under TikTok, we are dedicated to curating, producing, and localizing high-quality short dramas that resonate with diverse global audiences. Our core mission is to bridge cultural gaps through engaging storytelling, bringing authentic and entertaining short drama content to TikTok users worldwide while empowering creators and driving the growth of the short drama ecosystem on the platform.
- Take charge of the introduction, evaluation and planning of original short drama scripts, and be accountable for the overall script output volume.
- Source high-quality scripts suitable for overseas markets through multiple channels, establish connections with and maintain a pool of top-tier screenwriter resources.
- Refine the script grading standards and pricing mechanism, optimize the processes of script production, contracting and settlement, so as to improve the quality of imported scripts and the efficiency of investment and output.
- Analyze the consumption preferences of short drama audiences, conduct localization adaptation of scripts, and comprehensively enhance the adaptability of drama content.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification(s):
- Bachelor's degree or above; with relevant experience in content operation or scriptwriting
- Excellent internal collaboration and external communication skills; English proficiency sufficient for professional work.
- Familiar with the trends of hit short dramas, equipped with the ability to dissect content, and possess in-depth understanding and insight into the overseas short drama industry and market demands.
Preferred Qualification(s):
- Demonstrate strong actor service awareness; candidates with familiarity in short drama content or short drama actor management will be given priority.
- Candidates with overseas short drama experience will be preferred.
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $102600 - $198360 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
