Panic Button is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Software Engineer with a strong focus on game porting to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in software engineering teams in the video game industry, with recent and extensive experience in cross-platform console development.
Requirements
- 4+ years of work experience in gaming
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of C++
- Ability to support and maintain existing systems
- Ability to collaborate with other engineers, artists, and designers
- Experience with multithreaded, real-time systems
- Experience balancing performance and maintainability
- Experience with Unreal Engine or other proprietary engines
- Experience with modern console hardware
- Game industry experience
- Experience with low-level memory management and optimization
- $100,000-$200,000
