Software Engineer

MUST BE A US CITIZEN (ITAR REQUIREMENT).

Support a Fortune 500 Aero Defense company as a Software Engineer.

Required Skills

• Working knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Control Account Manager/Work Package Manager duties.

• Highly skilled in object-oriented design and C++ embedded software development.

• Experience working with RTOS and/or bare-metal real-time application development.

• Practical knowledge and experience with applicable software engineering processes.

• Familiarity with Ethernet communications.

• Contemporary design/development experience.

• Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills.

• Ability to conduct effective meetings, discussions, and presentations.

• Experience leading a small group of developers.

• Clearance: Secret Eligible. Candidates must be able to obtain a security clearance, therefore, must be US citizens.

Preferred Skills

• Practical knowledge and experience with applicable software management processes

• Practical knowledge and experience with applicable engineering development processes.

• Familiarity with Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI) and Life Cycle Management

• Working Cybersecurity domain knowledge, specifically of Risk Management Framework and the requirements and process to obtain/maintain Authority to Operate (ATO). Ideally, the candidate would possess a cybersecurity certification.

• Weapon system and/or combat vehicle subject matter expertise.

• Current Secret Clearance

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree in STEM field

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
