Title: Specialist, Vehicle EE System Validation Engineer

Location: Blythewood, South Carolina, United States

Work Environment: On-site 5 days per week; requires regular in-person meetings, events, and occasional travel.



Core Responsibilitie

  • sEnsure proper implementation and documentation in testing software, functions, diagnostics, and guided fault-finding/fault-tracing on the shop floor
  • .Participate in the software qualification process throughout the product development phase
  • .Drive the resolution of product problems and countermeasures through pre-series and series production to stabilize software quality
  • .Analyze commissioning, functional, and OEM diagnostic errors (ECU / Control Unit) and develop immediate corrective measures, monitoring their effectiveness
  • .Participate in coaching and qualification sessions for production employees, focusing on system architecture, function, and analysis
  • .Support reporting, evaluations, and key performance figures, with an emphasis on database error evaluations
  • .Develop and implement methods and systems to ensure software, function, and diagnostic maturity and quality using assurance processes and protocols
  • .Collaborate in cross-functional teams to identify immediate and long-term measures for improving quality and efficiency across the organization
  • .Document and interpret analysis results within a larger context to draw general conclusions and identify actionable process insights
  • .Support defect tracking to oversee resolution and identify trends or recurring systemic issues

Qualifications & Requiremen

  • tsExperience: Minimum of 4 years of professional experience with expertise in automotive manufacturing engineering, production planning, or project managemen
  • t.Education: Bachelor’s degree in automotive technology, mechanical, electrical, software engineering, or a related field (equivalent relevant work experience considered in lieu of a degree
  • ).Technical Skills: Strong understanding of vehicle engineering, manufacturing processes, and the ability to read/understand electrical schematic
  • s.Tools & Protocols: Experience with automotive network and diagnostic tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, LIM, and ECU/Control Unit flashing/diagnostic
  • s.Programming: Knowledge of advanced programming languages such as C++, C#, Java, or similar is preferre
  • d.Problem Solving: Proficient in analytical and conceptual thinking; demonstrated ability in creative, strategic troubleshooting, and OEM fault tracing/finding of vehicle system
  • s.Collaboration: Strong skills in organizational navigation, communication, and cross-functional relationship-building at all level
  • s.Execution: Ability to work independently and in a structured manner with a high level of commitment and teamwork skill
  • s.Physical Demands: Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for up to 4 hou
