Senior Software Engineer – Robotics (Methuen, MA)

Join a dynamic team dedicated to developing a complete surgical robotic system. This role involves designing and developing robotics control and safety supervisor software for medical devices, sustaining released surgical robotic systems, and ensuring compliance with software development procedures and quality systems.

Responsibilities include contributing to software design verification and validation, maintaining design history file software documents, and assisting with regulatory documentation.

The position requires experience with software, test-driven development, and the ability to work both independently and within agile teams. Occasional attendance at surgical cases is expected to understand clinical workflows and end-user requirements.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience with Software Development in robotic or motion control, and Automation.
• Strong object-oriented C++ development skills (C++17 and later)
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), KUKA KSS-based systems, SIMATIC PLCs, and KUKA KRL/RSI programming languages
• Test-driven programming experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
• This is a full-time onsite position in Methuen, MA. Candidates must be willing to work onsite.
