Job Role - C++ Architect – Embedded Systems (ARM Cortex-M / Microcontrollers)
Location - Pune
Experience - 10 to 20 Years
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design embedded software solutions for Microcontroller-based products.
- Lead the development of high-performance applications using Modern C++ (C++11/14/17).
- Design and implement multithreaded and concurrent software architectures.
- Define software architecture, coding standards, design patterns, and best practices.
- Work closely with System Engineers, Hardware Engineers, V&V teams, and Product Management.
- Drive end-to-end software development from requirements analysis to deployment.
Mandatory Skills
- 10+ years of embedded software development experience with at least 3+ years in an Architecture role.
- 5 years in Medical Device Software Development
- Strong expertise in C++ (C++11/14/17).
- Hands-on experience with Multithreading, Concurrency, Synchronization Mechanisms, Mutexes, Semaphores, and IPC.
- Extensive experience with Microcontrollers and low-level embedded software development.
- Strong experience with ARM Cortex-M Series (M0/M3/M4/M7/M33) architecture.
- Experience in Bare-Metal and RTOS-based development.
- Proficiency in Software Design Patterns and Object-Oriented Design principles.
- Unit Test Framework: GTest
- Ability to design develop and debug embedded firmware, basis software and driver
- Experienced in Interface with peripherals: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, Ethernet
- Good to have – experience with tools like FreeRTOS, Zephyr, VxWorks,
- Tools: Polarion; Azure DevOps; Eclipse; Enterprise Architect
Agile Experience
- Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Ability to estimate, plan, and execute technical deliverables within sprint cycles.
- Experience collaborating with global cross-functional teams.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline.
