Job Description

Software Engineer - Salary - £49,056-£53,172pa

Are you dynamic and like to work with Dynamics? Can you network whilst writing software for our network?

Havering Council is looking for a Software Engineer with customer focus to join our team of engineers in our Product Management and Customer Experience Team.

We focus on building products that enable council teams to interact with customers, making sure each stage of that interaction has an excellent customer experience baked into it.

This means it is both a challenging and rewarding environment as we work through the varied requests and customer needs so we're looking not only for a display of technical skills but for someone who can problem solve, challenge the norms and be willing to learn new things along the way.

You'll be working with Power Apps, Logic Apps, Granicus forms, the D365 CRM environment, integrations using APIs and SSIS and SQL databases to name a few.

Not fully up to speed in those areas? Don't worry. We can offer training support to fill the knowledge gaps.

If you enjoy building something that helps improve the interactions between residents and council teams then this is the role for you!

In return Havering offers a great employee scheme, a defined career pathway, opportunities to learn new skills at every turn and an excellent pension scheme.
