Our client, an investment bank is looking to hire Mid - Senior Software Engineer to join their Florida team.
This is a great opportunity for engineers who enjoy solving complex technical problems and want to play a hands-on technical leadership role. They’re interested in strong engineers who can think critically, build scalable solutions and mentor those around them.
The role is a mix of hands-on development and technical leadership. You’ll be expected to carry out code reviews, support and mentor more junior engineers and still be very much involved in designing, building and shipping code yourself.
From a technical perspective, they’re looking for strong experience with:
- Java
- Kafka
- Kubernetes, particularly for deploying Microservices
- Cloud technologies (Azure would be the preference)
- Cucumber for BDD and automated testing
