OverviewThis role supports development and validation of advanced MRI methods including:- Oscillating Gradient Diffusion (OGSE/OGD)
- FLORET-based UTE imaging
- The engineer will contribute to pulse sequence development, reconstruction algorithms, and MRI research software integration.
- Enhance and refine OGSE pulse sequence code within Philips MRI research environments.
- Support scanner deployment and sequence validation.
- Develop and validate non-Cartesian MRI reconstruction pipelines.
- Improve reconstruction workflows and system usability.
- Conduct QA/QC validation and artifact analysis.
- Coordinate experiments with Vanderbilt researchers and Cincinnati Children’s teams.
- Support scanner testing and validation studies.
- Document results, validation reports, and technical outputs.
- Strong experience in MRI pulse sequence programming
- Knowledge of MRI reconstruction including non-Cartesian methods
- Programming experience with C++, Python, or MATLAB
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Master’s or PhD in MRI Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
- Experience with Philips MRI research platforms
- Exposure to OGSE/OGD diffusion MRI or FLORET UTE imaging
