🔍 Senior Embedded Linux & Machine Vision Software Engineer | Semiconductor Equipment | Remote (Germany-based) - 6 month - Excellent Daily Rate

We're looking for a Senior Embedded Linux & Machine Vision Software Engineer to join a high-precision engineering project developing next-generation semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing and developing Linux-based software components for a real-time vision system
• Implementing image-processing and precision alignment algorithms
• Defining and evolving software architecture
• Collaborating closely with hardware suppliers on integration
• Working within Agile/Scrum ceremonies as part of a cross-functional team
• Developing automated test suites and supporting Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and simulation environments
• Leading integration, validation, and performance testing activities
• Contributing to technical documentation and design reviews

What You'll Bring

• Strong C++ and Embedded Linux development experience
• Proven background in Machine Vision / Image Processing
• Solid grounding in Software Architecture and system design
• Experience with Git, Agile/Scrum, and Automated Testing practices
• Hands-on experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Simulation Frameworks
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and Ethernet communication protocols
• Camera integration experience
• Familiarity with Polarion and Google Test
• Systems integration experience, ideally within semiconductor equipment development

Location

Primarily remote, based in Germany, with occasional travel to Europe if required.
