Autonomous Vehicle Engineer at BairesDev

As an Autonomous Vehicle Engineer, you will lead the development of intelligent on-vehicle logic and behavioral systems. You will play a key role in advancing the decision-making capabilities of autonomous platforms, ensuring they navigate complex environments with high precision and safety.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement advanced decision-making algorithms to manage complex vehicle behaviors in dynamic environments.
• Develop robust software solutions for on-vehicle autonomy logic using C++ and fundamental robotics principles.
• Formulate and integrate planning strategies that effectively handle uncertainty and unpredictable real-world scenarios.
• Apply and maintain industry-standard AV safety patterns to ensure reliable and secure vehicle operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine autonomous navigation and improve system-wide performance.

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on robotics or autonomous systems.
• Proven expertise in C++ and fundamental robotics principles.
• Extensive experience developing decision-making algorithms and planning under uncertainty.
• Hands-on experience implementing AV safety patterns for on-vehicle autonomy logic.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
