AV Engineer at BairesDev

As an AV Engineer, you will specialize in autonomous vehicle behaviors, decision-making, and on-vehicle autonomy logic. You will play a key role in developing the intelligence that allows vehicles to navigate complex environments safely and predictably.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement sophisticated decision-making algorithms for autonomous vehicle navigation.
• Develop and refine on-vehicle autonomy logic to handle a wide range of real-world driving scenarios.
• Apply robotics fundamentals to create robust systems that operate effectively under uncertainty.
• Integrate AV safety patterns into the core software architecture to ensure reliable performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the vehicle's behavioral response and planning.
• Utilize C++ to build high-performance, real-time systems for autonomous mobility.

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on autonomous vehicles or robotics.
• Proven expertise in C++ and fundamental robotics concepts.
• Hands-on experience developing decision-making algorithms and planning under uncertainty.
• Deep understanding of on-vehicle autonomy logic and AV safety patterns.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
