Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (C++, Python), or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
- Experience with compilers or toolchains.
- Experience with low level programming, Android, iOS, macOS, or Windows development.
- Knowledge of LLVM.
In this role, you will work very closely with other executive Software Engineers (SWEs) on the team in developing features in the space of Low Level Virtual Machines (LLVM) optimization and code generation that support (but not limited to) build scalability, toolchain velocity, peak performance and safety. You will develop infrastructure changes (updating our tools and scaling our processes using AI/automation) that help us deliver C++ toolchain always correct and efficient + make the necessary changes upstream in LLVM toolchain that aligns with Google's needs and interests.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams to improve LLVM and related technologies to provide google developers with toolchain and releases.
- Work with other executive SWEs and Team Leads (TLs) on the team developing features and improvements to LLVM that support Google long-term needs.
- Build agentic tools that automate engineering processes - focusing on building automated self-maintaining infrastructure to eliminate development toil.
- Lead design reviews + Participate in team Objectives and Key Results (OKR) planning and roadmap definition.
- Identify problems that need to be solved through direct exchange with our customers.
