About our client

Our client is a leading international company operating in the Defense & Aerospace industry. As part of the expansion of its engineering activities, the company is looking for a Data Engineer to join its multidisciplinary engineering team.

You will contribute to the development of modern data platforms supporting advanced engineering, simulation, analytics and AI projects.

Your Mission

As a Data Engineer, you will design, develop and maintain scalable data infrastructures that support engineering teams and data-driven applications.

You will work closely with software engineers, data scientists and system engineers to build robust data pipelines and optimize data processing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines.
• Build and optimize data architectures for structured and unstructured data.
• Set up, maintain and optimize databases and data lakes.
• Develop data pipelines supporting machine learning and advanced analytics.
• Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Ensure data quality, consistency and performance across platforms.
• Collaborate with software developers, data scientists and engineering teams.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices and data infrastructure.
• Support multiple engineering projects simultaneously.

Profile

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Engineering, Informatics or a related field.
• Around 5 years of experience in Data Engineering or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Fluent in English.
