We are looking for a mid-level Embedded Software Developer to join TGW's Research and Development team and contribute to the development of the TGW shuttle system, a core component of automated warehouse technology used by clients around the world.In this role, you will work on developing new features, improving existing modules, and supporting the full lifecycle of embedded software, from development and testing to deployment and production maintenance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, integrate third-party devices into TGW systems, and play an active part in building reliable, high-quality software for complex industrial environments.This is a hands-on engineering role with a clear scope, a supportive team, and meaningful technical challenges, well suited for a developer looking to grow their embedded systems expertise within a global technology company.You'll be working in our Kaunas office, reporting into the global team in Austria. But don't worry, you'll be surrounded by other engineers working on global projects.

What you'll be handling:

  • Work primarily on the TGW shuttle system, with potential future involvement in smart pocket systems
  • Develop new features and improvements for existing products, including work on specific modules such as flaps and drives
  • Contribute to hardware and software testing, including support for the development of test solutions
  • Support deployment and maintenance of existing modules, including working with internal pipelines for production releases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to align development activities
  • Integrate third-party devices into TGW systems, including motor inverters and similar components

What you'll need:

  • Experience with C/C++ in embedded systems
  • Familiarity with development environments (any IDE)
  • Good understanding of Git and basic workflows (e.g. pull requests)
  • Understanding of development workflows and CI/CD concepts (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
  • Experience with debugging and unit testing
  • Ability to read and understand electronic schematics
  • English at least B2
