Your Responsibilities:
- Planning, execution, and documentation of verification and testing activities for aerospace products in the areas of software as well as PLD/FPGA development
- Definition of test requirements for embedded software, PLD/FPGA components, and the associated test systems
- Analysis, evaluation, and verification of test data and results
- Creation and maintenance of test, analysis, and verification documentation in accordance with aerospace-specific standards
- Development and implementation of test applications and automated test solutions
- Development, qualification, and continuous improvement of verification and testing tools
- Development and application of suitable analysis and verification methods for customer products
- Close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and coordination of tasks and milestones in an agile working environment
Your Profile:
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable technical qualification
- Experience in the development and/or verification of software as well as PLD/FPGA solutions, taking relevant processes and standards into account
- Excellent programming skills in C, Python, VHDL, and TCL, ideally complemented by Assembly
- Knowledge of modern testing and verification methods
- ISTQB certification or a comparable qualification in software testing
- Knowledge of aerospace standards DO-178 and/or DO-254
- Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken, are essential for internal and external communication
A permanent employment contract is offered.
The position is compensated within the framework of the IG Metall collective agreement. The salary development includes several salary adjustments within the first 12 months. The average annual salary during the first year of employment is €82,000. Following this adjustment phase, the annual salary from the 13th to the 47th month is €105,000.
