Responsibilities
Universal Robots (UR) Programming:
- Develop and optimize UR robot programs for various production tasks, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate UR robots into production lines, addressing programming needs and system integration challenges.
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of UR robots to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation.
- Perform routine inspections, calibration, and repair tasks as required.
- Design, configure, and implement machine vision systems to enhance automation processes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate machine vision technology with UR robots for quality control, inspection, and process optimization.
- Continuously identify opportunities to enhance automation processes and improve production efficiency.
- Propose and implement automation upgrades and optimizations in collaboration with the engineering team.
- Create comprehensive documentation for UR robot programs, machine vision setups, and maintenance procedures.
- Provide training and support to production and maintenance teams on robot operation and troubleshooting.
- Ensure that all UR robot operations adhere to safety regulations and standards.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and compliance requirements related to automation systems.
- Maintaining inventory of components for all the equipment and BOM creation.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, technology, electrical engineering, automation, or a related field.
- Experience with collaborative robots (Cobots).
- Familiarity with PLC programming and industrial control systems.
- Proven experience in programming and maintaining Universal Robots (UR).
- Strong expertise in machine vision systems, including camera integration and vision algorithm development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Robot Programming Language (RPL).
- Familiarity with industrial automation systems and control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and standards related to robotics and automation.
- Knowledge of 3D CAD software for robot simulation and programming.
