As a Linux Kernel Engineer, you will contribute to the core components of the Linux operating system, focusing on subsystems like filesystems, schedulers, and memory management. You will serve as a link between low-level hardware and the OS, ensuring that the kernel remains stable, efficient, and capable of supporting complex computing environments.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain core Linux kernel subsystems including memory management, schedulers, and filesystems.
  • Develop and optimize high-performance device drivers in C to ensure robust hardware integration and stability.
  • Identify and resolve complex, low-level system bottlenecks and bugs within the kernel codebase.
  • Participate in the open-source community by contributing to upstream features and submitting technical patches.
  • Conduct performance analysis and system tuning to improve the efficiency and reliability of the OS at the lowest level.

What We Are Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on Systems Programming.
  • Proven expertise in Linux kernel development and debugging.
  • Advanced proficiency in C programming and low-level systems development.
  • Deep understanding of kernel subsystems, including filesystems, schedulers, and memory management.
  • Hands-on experience developing and maintaining Linux device drivers.
  • Advanced proficiency in English.
