Low-Latency Software Engineer at BairesDev

As a Low-Latency Software Engineer, you will build ultra-low-latency trading systems to ensure high-performance execution in competitive financial environments. You will focus on nanosecond-level optimization, ensuring that every component of the trading stack is tuned for maximum speed and efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop high-frequency trading systems using C++ and performance-oriented programming techniques.
• Implement kernel bypass networking and hardware acceleration using FPGA to minimize communication latency.
• Optimize system performance through lock-free data structures and memory management strategies.
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers to translate complex trading algorithms into highly efficient code.
• Conduct deep-level system profiling and tuning to identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks.
• Ensure the reliability and stability of trading infrastructure through rigorous testing and real-time monitoring.

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on High-Frequency Trading (HFT) or low-latency systems.
• Advanced proficiency in C++ and deep understanding of low-level systems programming.
• Proven expertise in kernel bypass networking and nanosecond-level optimization.
• Strong knowledge of lock-free data structures and high-performance multi-threaded programming.
• Hands-on experience with FPGA integration or hardware-software co-design for trading systems.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
