C++ Software Engineer

We are partnered with a world-class HFT firm looking to hire exceptional C++ Software Engineers to help build and refine ultra-low latency systems, with direct ownership over performance-critical components that sit close to the core of the business where microseconds matter.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and evolve high-performance C++ systems with a focus on latency, throughput, and scalability
• Analyse and optimise systems by identifying and eliminating performance bottlenecks
• Apply a deep understanding of system and hardware interactions to solve low-level engineering challenges
• Contribute to technical direction with a performance-first mindset

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Solid C++ experience is non-negotiable (recent hands-on development required)
• Proven track record working on latency-sensitive or performance-critical systems
• Deep understanding of: multi-threading, lock-free programming, memory management, or concurrency
• Ability to work in environments where performance is a primary design constraint
