- 3+ years professional experience working as a Software Engineer
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink scripting and modeling and C, C++, C# or a related language

- Experience with software/hardware integration and testing
What You Will Be Doing
Responsibilities
As a PTMS/Propulsion Software Engineer Sr you will be responsible for support of PTMS/Propulsion through its entire lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop functional and physical architecture definitions
- Develop and maintain detailed software requirements
- Develop and test required hardware/software integration tests within a lab environment.
- Develop models of the system in order to test software fixes with real aircraft data
- Collaborate with cross functional engineers to troubleshoot systemic issues as well as aircraft faults.
- Query fleet data and use data analytics to establish system level requirements based on fleet utilization.

You are a collaborative, results‑driven professional with strong communication and presentation skills. You have deep experience in propulsion performance analysis, stress assessment, and system integration, and you enjoy mentoring junior team members while working closely with cross‑functional Aeronautics disciplines and external propulsion partners.
