What You Will Do
- Independently design and implement Audio DSP algorithms in Embedded Audio platforms like Linux, Android or Tizen.
- Architect and develop Linux-based audio applications on embedded devices.
- Evaluate state of the art Audio DSP algorithms and drive their adaptation in new technologies.
- Lead the efforts of inventing and maturing new acoustic technologies for further integration into products and services by external teams.
- Promote and drive adoption of technologies developed by the Audio Systems team with internal Business Units and Engineering organizations.
- Serve as the cross-functional technical owner for key technology developments, coordinating alignment across research, software, system, validation, and product teams.
- Drive technical decisions, priorities, interfaces, and trade-offs across functions to ensure solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with product and user needs.
- Define and drive qualification of audio algorithm performance using appropriate testing frameworks, objective analysis, and technical validation methods.
- Guide the transfer of new technologies to commercialization teams, ensuring technical readiness and successful integration.
- Write technical reports, white papers, and patent applications.
- Minimum of BSc degree in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Acoustics, etc. and 8 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience with SW development on embedded platforms, using C/C++.
- Experience with audio processing using MATLAB.
- Experience with real-time audio signal processing algorithm design and implementation.
- Experience implementing and testing algorithms derived from research papers.
- Hands-on experience with agile SW development processes.
- Experience with SDKs for audio processing development (JUCE or equivalent).
- Business fluent in English (verbal and written) .
- Linux, Tizen OS, Mac OS audio development.
- Experience developing and scientifically supporting novel DSP algorithm concepts, with publications and/or patent applications.
- Experience with acoustic systems measurements.
- Practical experience with embedded systems prototyping and debugging.
- Hands-on experience with continuous integration systems configuration.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Willingness to work on-site 3 days a week.
