Based in Diavata, Greece, the company designs, manufactures and delivers complete entertainment solutions for shopping malls, family entertainment centers and leisure venues around the world.
At Intelligent Entertainment, we are looking for an experienced PCB Designer / Embedded Hardware Engineer to become part of our growing Research & Development team.
Our PCB Designer will design and develop the custom electronic systems that power our interactive attractions. From intelligent mission controllers and RFID technology to custom PCBs, sensors, lighting automation and embedded hardware, you will transform innovative concepts into reliable products that are manufactured in-house and installed worldwide.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design electronic circuits and PCB layouts for the company's interactive entertainment products.
- Develop embedded electronic hardware based on the ESP32 microcontroller platform.
- Design custom electronic systems including mission controllers, RFID readers, expansion modules, I/O boards and automation electronics.
- Produce schematics, PCB layouts, Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing documentation.
- Select electronic components and evaluate new technologies for future products.
- Build, assemble, test and validate electronic prototypes.
- Perform hardware debugging and troubleshooting using laboratory equipment.
- Collaborate closely with firmware developers to ensure seamless integration between hardware and software.
- Work alongside mechanical engineers, industrial designers and production teams to integrate electronics into finished products.
- Support production by improving hardware reliability, manufacturability and overall product quality.
- Participate in the research and development of next-generation entertainment technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in PCB design and embedded electronic hardware development.
- Extensive hands-on experience with ESP32-based hardware development is required. The ESP32 is the core microcontroller platform used across our current and next-generation products.
- Proficiency with PCB design software such as Autodesk Fusion 360 Electronics, Altium Designer, KiCad or similar. Familiarity with Autodesk Fusion 360 Electronics will be considered a strong advantage, as it is the company's primary electronics design platform.
- Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics.
- Experience with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I²C, RS-485 and CAN.
- Experience using laboratory equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters and logic analyzers.
- Understanding of PCB manufacturing and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
- Basic embedded firmware development experience will be considered an asset.
- Advanced knowledge of English.
- Excellent use of computers & MS Office.
- An owned transportation vehicle for the daily commuting to the HQ will be considered an asset.
