Software Engineer

A leading aerospace and defence organisation is looking for a Software Engineer to join their simulation management team. The successful candidate will support the development of next-generation flight simulators and training systems for military applications, working across the full software development lifecycle.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading the design, architecture, and development of simulation models, virtual environments, and frameworks.
• Partnering with stakeholders to identify simulation requirements and system dynamics for complex platforms.
• Validating and verifying simulation software code against real-world data and benchmarks.
• Integrating simulation software with hardware devices and systems in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Mentoring junior engineers and promoting continuous improvement through agile practices and technical innovation.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering or technical field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in programming with C, C++, or C#.
• Proven experience working within an Agile software development environment.
• Ability to be legally authorized to work in the United States and obtain necessary security clearances.
