Software Engineer Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate production-quality software for unmanned robotic platforms
• Develop robotic control and autonomy software using ROS2, Python, and C++
• Integrate software with sensors, actuators, embedded hardware, and vehicle systems
• Perform hands-on hardware and software integration, testing, and troubleshooting
• Develop and maintain software within a Linux development environment using Git
• Support rapid prototyping, system validation, and field testing of robotic platforms
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions
• Continuously improve software architecture, system reliability, and development processes

Software Engineer Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Professional experience developing software for robotics, embedded systems, or autonomous platforms
• Strong programming experience with Python and C++
• Experience working with ROS2 (or similar robotics middleware)
• Hands-on experience integrating hardware, sensors, and embedded computing platforms
• Working knowledge of Linux development environments and Git version control
• Experience with CAN Bus communication in embedded or robotics applications
• Self-motivated engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges in a fast-paced environment
• Must be eligible to work on ITAR-regulated programs (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or U.S. Person)
