C++ Systems Engineer at BairesDev

As a C++ Systems Engineer, you will build low-level systems software to power our core infrastructure. You will work at the intersection of hardware and software, developing high-performance components and system libraries that ensure the reliability and efficiency of critical operating system environments.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop performance-critical systems software using C++ and low-level APIs.
• Implement and optimize operating system components and core system libraries for Linux environments.
• Develop kernel-adjacent software and drivers to interface directly with hardware and OS internals.
• Analyze and optimize system performance, identifying bottlenecks in memory management and CPU utilization.
• Build robust and scalable infrastructure components that serve as the foundation for higher-level applications.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define architectural standards for high-performance systems.

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on systems programming.
• Proven expertise in developing low-level systems software using C++.
• Deep understanding of Linux systems and operating system internals.
• Experience building performance-critical infrastructure and system libraries.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
