Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities For This Position
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced software solutions for undersea sensor applications. You will work closely with and will lead cross-functional teams to deliver high performance, reliable, and scalable software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize software for undersea sensor applications.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software and systems in undersea applications.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Develop and maintain documentation for algorithms, software, and systems.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.
- Experience developing in a Linux environment.
- Active DoD or DoW Secret security clearance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Docker for containerization and/or Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment.
- Knowledge of underwater acoustics and sonar systems.
- Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Experience with MATLAB or similar tools for algorithm development and simulation.
- Active DoD or DoW Top Secret security clearance.

Target salary range: USD $118,570.00/Yr. - USD $131,539.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
