We are partnered with an established quantitative trading and financial technology firm that develops advanced software platforms supporting automated decision-making and execution across electronic financial markets.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance high-performance C++ applications that power latency-sensitive trading systems
• Partner closely with traders and software engineers to turn trading ideas into scalable, production-ready solutions
• Investigate system behaviour and analyze performance data to identify bottlenecks and drive technical improvements
• Implement and refine interactions between distributed applications, ensuring changes are reliable, testable, and maintainable
• Modernize legacy software by migrating complex applications into efficient, high-performance C++ code bases
• Continuously optimize software architecture, production code, and critical infrastructure to maximize performance, throughput, and reliability

Qualifications

• Experience developing software within an electronic trading enviroment
• Expert-level proficiency in modern C++ with a track record of building high-performance, production-grade systems
• Strong foundation in computer science, including data structures, algorithms, multithreading, and concurrent programming
• Proven ability to diagnose complex issues, profile applications, and optimize software for performance and reliability
• Comfortable developing in Linux environments with experience in systems programming and low-level software optimization
• Strong engineering judgment with the ability to design intuitive, scalable solutions and translate business requirements into robust production software
