Job Description
We are looking for a Senior UI Programmer to work on an unannounced project.
As a Senior UI programmer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user interface for our upcoming unannounced game! Joining our programming team, you'll collaborate closely with fellow programmers, designers, artists, and testers. Your daily tasks will involve crafting innovative game features using Massive’s proprietary engine, Snowdrop. As a key member of the team, your primary responsibility will be to assist Technical Artists in creating an exceptional UI for the project.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with UI Artists to enrich and expand the functionality of the engine, ensuring a seamless integration of artistic vision into the user interface.
- Play a key role in the design and implementation of robust gameplay systems, leveraging your expertise to enhance the overall gaming experience.
- Engage in the development process of a C++ multithreaded engine, employing cutting-edge techniques to ensure efficiency and optimal performance.
- Demonstrate a keen awareness of performance considerations by optimizing algorithms and efficiently managing memory and bandwidth usage, contributing to an optimized and responsive gaming environment.
- Solid experience in UI or Gameplay programming within the game development landscape.
- Demonstrated expertise in C++ programming within the gaming industry, showcasing a strong track record of success on AAA projects.
- A solid understanding of the intricacies of game development processes and the complete life cycle of game production.
