About the Role

We are looking for a Software Developer (C++ – Desktop GIS) to join a small, high-impact engineering team working on LP360, an industry-leading desktop platform for LiDAR and geospatial data processing. This is a full-stack desktop role where you will contribute across the application — from core data processing algorithms to user interface — in a product used worldwide for surveying, infrastructure, and drone-based mapping workflows.

What You Will Do

· Design and implement new features in the LP360 desktop application

· Maintain and improve stability (crash fixes, reliability)

· Optimize performance of key LiDAR data processing tools

· Integrate external SDKs

· Contribute to UI/UX improvements (MFC/Codejock)

· Collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams

Technical Environment

· Languages: C++, Python

· Frameworks: MFC, Codejock

· Platform: Windows desktop

· Build systems: MSBuild, CMake

· Domain: LiDAR, photogrammetry, SLAM, geospatial processing

Requirements

· 3–8 years of software development experience

· Strong C++ proficiency

· Experience with Windows desktop development

· Ability to work across UI and backend

· Strong debugging and performance skills

Nice to Have

· GIS, LiDAR, or 3D data experience

· MFC familiarity

· SDK integrations experience

· Python scripting skills
