About The Role
We are looking for a Software Developer (C++ – Desktop GIS) to join a small, high-impact engineering team working on LP360, an industry-leading desktop platform for LiDAR and geospatial data processing. This is a full-stack desktop role where you will contribute across the application — from core data processing algorithms to user interface — in a product used worldwide for surveying, infrastructure, and drone-based mapping workflows.
What You Will Do
- Design and implement new features in the LP360 desktop application
- Maintain and improve stability (crash fixes, reliability)
- Optimize performance of key LiDAR data processing tools
- Integrate external SDKs
- Contribute to UI/UX improvements (MFC/Codejock)
- Collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams
- Languages: C++, Python
- Frameworks: MFC, Codejock
- Platform: Windows desktop
- Build systems: MSBuild, CMake
- Domain: LiDAR, photogrammetry, SLAM, geospatial processing
- 3–8 years of software development experience
- Strong C++ proficiency
- Experience with Windows desktop development
- Ability to work across UI and backend
- Strong debugging and performance skills
- GIS, LiDAR, or 3D data experience
- MFC familiarity
- SDK integrations experience
- Python scripting skills
- Cutting-edge domain (AI, LiDAR, SLAM)
