Your Mission
Join us at the intersection of software, hardware, AI, and life sciences. You'll develop Java- and C++-based software for advanced laboratory and clinical instruments that support biomedical research and next-generation therapies. Together with a cross-functional agile team, you'll build reliable technology that helps tackle cancer and other serious diseases while driving the adoption of AI-powered engineering practices. You will:
- Help us discover and establish effective ways of using AI to improve coding, testing, debugging, and software quality.
- Build modern, reliable applications with a strong focus on Java and develop hardware-near software components using C++.
- Leverage AI-assisted coding tools to enhance software development, testing, debugging, documentation, and code reviews. Critically assess and refine generated outputs to ensure secure, maintainable, and production-ready software solutions.
- Own the development and continuous improvement of software for our instrument portfolio, ensuring the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.
- Work in a cross-functional team of software engineers, testers, hardware experts, and scientists, contributing your expertise and ideas to create innovative solutions.
We're looking for curious builders, problem-solvers, and team players who want to create technology that matters.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable field.
- AI-first-mindset, whether through intelligent automation, agent-based systems, prompt engineering, or generative AI applications, and motivation to transfer this experience into AI-driven software verification and quality engineering
- Strong Java development skills; experience with C++ is a plus.
- Knowledge of areas such as multithreading, UI development, system design, or hardware integration, with a focus on clean and maintainable code.
- Collaborative, agile, and solution-oriented mindset with strong communication skills and good English proficiency.
- Medical devices, biotechnology, laboratory automation, or regulated software.
- Git, CI/CD, automated testing, or DevOps practices.
- IEC 62304, ISO 13485, or similar standards.
