As part of the company’s growth, transitioning from R&D to industrialisation and scale-up, there is a need to recruit highly experienced Perception Software Engineers at all levels to assist with building and delivering the AI & ML capability for uncrewed ground vehicles.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will possess the following:

• Experience in robotics, autonomous systems, machine learning, or a related field.
• Good understanding of perception systems and their interaction with localisation, mapping, and planning modules.
• Experience in at least one of the following areas: Object Detection, Semantic Segmentation, Multi-Object Tracking.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
• Familiarity with Linux development environments and software engineering tools such as Git and Docker.
• Familiarity with camera and LiDAR sensors.
• A good science or engineering degree, ideally with a postgraduate degree in a related subject or management discipline.

Candidates with knowledge in the following areas will be given preference:

• Experience deploying machine learning models on embedded platforms.
• Familiarity with NVIDIA Jetson devices.
• Knowledge of TensorRT and CUDA programming.
• Familiarity with middleware technologies and communication frameworks used in robotics and distributed systems (e.g., DDS, ROS/ROS2, or custom middleware solutions).
