Senior Embedded Software Engineer

🚀 Embedded Software Engineer | Remote | Up to £80,000

I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join an innovative engineering team developing cutting-edge embedded software for high-reliability systems.

This role offers remote working, with only occasional onsite visits required for testing, integration, and collaboration with the wider engineering team.

💰 Salary: Up to £80,000 (with industry leading benefits)

You'll be working on:

• Developing and maintaining embedded software in C++
• Designing, testing, and integrating software for complex embedded systems
• Working across the full software development lifecycle
• Collaborating with hardware, FPGA, and systems engineering teams
• Building robust, high-performance software for advanced engineering applications

We're looking for engineers with experience in:

✅ Embedded Software Development

✅ C++ and Linux environments

✅ Object-Oriented Design (OOD), SOLID principles, and design patterns

✅ Unit testing and modern software development practices

✅ Communication protocols such as CAN, RS232/RS422, UDP, or TCP/IP

Desirable experience includes:

✔ MATLAB/Simulink

✔ OpenGL or Vulkan

✔ CUDA or OpenCL

✔ FPGA or HDL exposure

✔ Video processing or machine learning

✔ Experience within defence, aerospace, automotive, or other high-reliability industries
