What you will do

  • Development of cutting-edge perception algorithms for autonomous driving, utilizing computer vision techniques and sensor fusion with various modalities like Cameras, RADAR, LiDAR
  • C++ software development for motion planning and control algorithms on real-time capable embedded compute platforms
  • You will collaborate with software engineers in a multidisciplinary environment covering a wide range of areas from advanced AI perception & navigation to critical RTOS and middleware
  • You will collaborate to architect the embedded software stack for powerful SoCs based advanced compute platform as well as collaborate with SoC vendors to drive feature development and resolve issues
  • Utilize modern development toolchains, such as testing, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, simulation, and continuous integration, to enable efficient development cycles
  • Actively engage in technical contributions through Machine- / Deep-Learning-focused development, including data pipelines, model development, training, and iterative improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, set objectives, and establish project timelines for advanced perception technologies

What you will bring

  • A degree (Bachelors / Masters / PhD) in Mechatronics / Robotics / Computer / Electronic / Electrical Engineering, or related fields
  • Experience in developing perception & localization algorithms, computer vision techniques, calibration, mapping, and sensor fusion for autonomous vehicles or related applications
  • Relevant experience in C++ software development and familiarity with modern coding standards, e.g., C++20 and with tools & frameworks such as ROS, TensorRT, Cuda, OpenCL, OpenCV
  • Experience in developing innovative Computer Vision solutions for sensors such as camera, LiDAR, radar, or other robotics applications
  • Experience in working with prominent SoCs from manufacturers such as Qualcomm, NXP, Renesas, NVIDIA, etc. and in real-time embedded operating systems like Linux, QNX, or similar
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively
