Front End Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop software on payment acceptance devices according to the requirements received.
• Develop software tools for testing and troubleshooting to support the team's operations.
• Analyze and resolve issues occurring within the responsible systems.
• Prepare technical documentation, user manuals, test results, and other related documents.
• Provide system advice and coordinate with other relevant teams.

Key Skills & Capabilities

• Ability to develop software on Embedded devices using the following languages:
• C/C++
• Shell script
• Golang
• Ability to develop software on Android payment terminals using Java or Kotlin.
• Ability to develop software on Windows using at least one of the following: C#, Python, Qt, or Electron.
• Proficient understanding and ability to develop software working with pointers in C/C++.
• Excellent understanding of different number bases and bitwise operators for bit-level calculations.
• Ability to develop software with a solid understanding of hardware interface protocols: UART, TCP/IP, and USB.
• Good knowledge and understanding of API development and Backend services to effectively collaborate with the Backend team.
• Core understanding of basic cryptography and hashing algorithms, such as RSA, CRC, DES, and AES.
• Proficient in using basic Linux commands.
• Ability to write Unit Tests using JUnit and Mockito.

Proficient in version control using Git, with a solid understanding of Git branch strategies

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or other related fields.
• No age restriction.
• No gender restriction.
• 1–5 years of work experience.

Experience in developing software for Embedded systems, Linux System programming, or Android payment terminals will be given special consideration.
