Staff Backend Engineer | AI Robotics | New York (On-site) | $200,000–$250,000 + Equity

MBN Solutions is partnering with an exciting AI robotics startup that's building autonomous manufacturing systems to solve some of the biggest challenges in modern industrial production.

We're looking for a Staff Backend Engineer to take ownership of the backend infrastructure powering large-scale machine learning pipelines and robotics data systems. This is an opportunity to join an early-stage founding team where you'll have genuine influence over architecture, technical direction, and product development.

What you'll be doing:

✅ Building scalable backend systems for ML infrastructure

✅ Designing and owning robotics sensor data pipelines

✅ Developing high-performance distributed systems

✅ Working closely with ML engineers to accelerate experimentation and deployment

✅ Making key architectural decisions in a greenfield environment

What we're looking for:

🔹 7+ years' experience building production backend systems

🔹 Strong Python, Rust and/or C++

🔹 Experience with distributed systems and large-scale data pipelines

🔹 Exposure to ML infrastructure, GPU workloads or time-series data is highly beneficial

🔹 Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with significant ownership

📍 New York City (100% on-site)

💰 $200,000–$250,000 base

📈 Competitive equity
