Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions, focusing on designing, coding, and enhancing various components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members, utilizing modern frameworks, and applying agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions that meet specific business requirements. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to enhance overall performance. - Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to optimize team efficiency. - Actively participate in project planning and estimation activities to ensure timely delivery of solutions. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in IBM Db2. - Additional Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Natural. - Strong understanding of database design and optimization techniques. - Experience with SQL and performance tuning. - Familiarity with software development methodologies, particularly agile practices. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in IBM Db2. - This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required
