Software Engineer (.NET and Power BI)

We are seeking an experienced Fullstack Developer for one of the European Institutions, based in Warsaw, Poland. This role is highly focused on Software development related to .NET and Power BI. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-level software systems.

DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS

The selected candidate will perform the following typical tasks and responsibilities:

• System Development: Designs and develops the system; prototypes solutions and translates requirements into design.
• Technical Leadership: Leads development teams, sets software development standards, and estimates effort and time for development.
• Optimization: Optimizes software from performance, security, and quality points of view; collects and interprets software metrics.
• Documentation: Produces technical documentation and documents all developments.
• Problem Solving: Proposes technical solutions for business needs and technical problems.
• Lifecycle Support: Contributes to requirements analysis, testing, quality assurance, change management, and deployment.
• Operations: Manages configuration and releases; acts as 2nd and 3rd line support.
• Quality Control: Tests solutions and develops testing tools.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

The candidate should possess the following knowledge and skills:

• Lifecycle Experience: Has gone at least 1 time through the complete lifecycle of a solution.
• Domain Expertise: Expert in developing enterprise-level software systems in the specified technology domain.
• Design Proficiency: Knows UML and can design applications in UML; proficient in designing and developing the data layer, business logic layer, and UI layer.
• Methodology: Experience working in Scrum developments.
• Team Leadership: Capable of leading technical teams.
• Professionalism: Ability to document technical solutions effectively and presents strong problem-solving skills.

SPECIFIC EXPERTISE (Mandatory):

• Experience as a Software Developer in at least 2 projects involving solutions based on Microsoft Business Intelligence or similar.
• In-depth knowledge of physical databases, SQL, BI, reporting tools, ETL tools, data modelling tools, OLAP, and data mining tools.
• Experience working with Microsoft PowerBI or similar business intelligence tools.
• Experience working in .NET.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES

At least one (1) certification from the following list (or equivalent) is mandatory:

1. Intermediate level certificate in software development relevant to the domain.
2. An equivalent certification recognized internationally (subject to acceptance by the Contracting Authority)
