Senior Microsoft Developer | Mortágua, Portugal

We are looking for a Senior Microsoft Developer to join our Global Development Team in Mortágua, Portugal.

This role focuses primarily on development and integrations within the Microsoft ecosystem, with opportunities to apply AI technologies in automation, copilots, and intelligent workflows. This is not an AI-specialist position; instead, we are looking for a strong developer with some exposure to AI tools and a willingness to develop further in this area.

About The Role

As a Senior Microsoft Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business-critical applications, APIs, automations, and integrations across the Microsoft technology stack.

Working closely with teams across Finance, HR, Operations, ERP, and CRM, you will contribute to the organization's digital transformation initiatives while helping drive innovation through modern cloud and AI-enabled solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity to participate in a global IT modernization program and gain hands-on exposure to Microsoft's rapidly evolving AI ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain APIs, services, and integrations using Microsoft technologies, including Azure, .NET, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365.
  • Design and implement automations and workflows that support business operations and process optimization.
  • Contribute to solution architecture, technical standards, and development best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated business solutions.
  • Support AI-related initiatives using Microsoft technologies such as Copilot Studio and Azure AI Studio, where applicable.
  • Ensure high standards of code quality, security, documentation, scalability, and performance.
  • Participate in troubleshooting, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Support the integration of enterprise systems and applications across the organization.

Required

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, preferably in a senior-level position.
  • Strong experience with:
    • C# / .NET Core (or equivalent Microsoft development technologies)
    • API development (REST, OData, Graph API)
    • Azure Functions
    • Azure App Services
    • Azure API Management
  • Familiarity with:
    • Microsoft Azure services
    • Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Connectors)
    • Microsoft 365 ecosystem
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred

  • Exposure to or interest in:
    • AI-driven workflows
    • Copilot extensibility
    • Azure AI Studio
    • Prompt Flow
    • Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI integrations
Nice to have

  • Experience integrating systems such as Business Central, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Fabric, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices and Azure DevOps.
  • Basic understanding of MLOps concepts and AI solution monitoring.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
