Lead - Digital & IT Detailed Engineering

We are seeking an experienced professional to serve as the Application Owner and Project Lead for detailed engineering-focused IT systems. This role bridges engineering disciplines and IT, ensuring seamless integration, support, and development of critical applications while managing IT projects and teams.

Key Responsibilities

Application Ownership & Support

Good understanding of Octave PID.

Basic proficiency of other Octave products such as Smart3D, Smart SI, Smart Review, etc. would be an added advantage.

Foundational knowledge of Systems Engineering and Instrumentation Engineering principles.

Demonstrate working knowledge of engineering applications such as Bentley, Aveva, Autodesk, CAXperts.

Project & Team Management

Lead and manage in-house IT projects across multiple engineering disciplines.

Business-IT Integration

Serve as a bridge between engineering teams and IT, translating business requirements into technical solutions.

Ensure smooth integration of engineering applications with business processes.

Technical Expertise

Foundational knowledge of Cloud technologies (Citrix/XenDesktop).

Basic understanding of Oracle & SQL databases.

Knowledge of IT hardware and security principles.

Knowledge of .NET programming in VB.NET/C#.NET

Experience in project management.

Basic knowledge of document management systems.

Awareness of how various systems integrate within engineering workflows.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field

Proven 8+ years of experience with Octave applications and engineering IT systems in a global EPC company.

Strong project management and communication skills with experience leading cross-functional teams.
