What You Will Do
- Design, implement, integrate, and maintain software applications and services.
- Translate business, system, and customer requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop clean, maintainable, well-documented, and testable code.
- Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.
- Analyze technical problems and implement effective solutions.
- Develop unit, integration, system, and automated regression tests.
- Troubleshoot defects, performance issues, deployment problems, and production incidents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define interfaces, data flows, and integration requirements.
- Support continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
- Contribute to software documentation, technical procedures, and engineering standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical estimation.
- Mentor less-experienced engineers through design guidance, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Communicate technical status, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to project and technical leadership.
- Support system deployments, operational readiness activities, and sustainment as needed.
- Perform other related duties consistent with the position and program requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology
- 8 years of professional software development experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Clearance:TS/SCI w/Poly
- Demonstrated experience developing and delivering production-quality software.
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, C#, C++, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience with software design principles, object-oriented or functional programming, and common development patterns.
- Experience with source-control systems, code reviews, automated testing, and defect tracking.
- Experience analyzing requirements and converting them into well-engineered software solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently and collaboratively.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle processes and Agile development practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
- Experience developing distributed, cloud-based, web-based, embedded, or mission-critical systems.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, messaging systems, or service-oriented architectures.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, or automated deployment pipelines.
