High Performance Technologies, Inc. (HPTech) is an infrastructure-centered firm focusing on practice, research, policy, and technology transfer. HPTech was established in 2003 with the primary purpose of serving the U.S. federal government at their facilities and project sites. Our uniqueness lies in our ability to integrate physical sciences, social sciences, engineering, planning, and policy when developing and delivering infrastructure solutions.

We are seeking a Software Developer to design, develop, and deliver scalable, enterprise-grade software solutions supporting nationally significant transportation and infrastructure research programs. The position supports the design and development of applications used in infrastructure research and data dissemination. The Software Developer works closely with engineers and database teams supporting FHWA research platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web-based and desktop applications.
• Support application integration with relational databases.
• Assist with deployment and configuration in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with senior developers and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering, or software engineering.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with .NET technologies and relational databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of FHWA InfoHighway portals (InfoPave, InfoBridge, InfoMaterials, InfoPTF).
