Software Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to help design, build, and maintain our internal business applications. In this role you will work as part of a collaborative engineering team to deliver reliable, well-built software that supports the day-to-day needs of teams across the organization. You will write clean, maintainable code, contribute to technical discussions, and grow your skills alongside experienced engineers.

What You'll Do

- Design, develop, test, and maintain internal web applications.

- Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code following team standards.

- Design and work with relational data models and write efficient SQL to support application features.

- Build and help scale web applications so they remain performant and reliable.

- Participate in code reviews, both giving and receiving constructive feedback.

- Work with product owners and business stakeholders to understand requirements and turn them into working software.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the application stack.

- Collaborate with other engineers to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.

Qualifications

- 3–5+ years of professional software engineering experience.

- Proficiency in a major application development platform — **.NET or Java**.

- Solid relational database skills, including data modeling and SQL, with hands-on experience using relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL (experience with SQL Server is a plus).

- Experience building web applications.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Preferential Qualifications

- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.

- Experience building internal or line-of-business applications.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and version control workflows.

- Eagerness to learn and take on new technical challenges.
