About the Role

A leading Cyber Intelligence company is looking for a talented Backend Software Engineer to join our R&D team. In this role, you will work closely with our Cyber Research team to transform research outcomes into robust, production-ready product capabilities. You will design, develop, and maintain core backend components that power our intelligence platform, integrating advanced research into scalable, high-performance production systems. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on solving complex technical challenges, optimizing performance, and building reliable software in a Linux-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain core backend services and product components.

• Integrate cyber research capabilities into production-ready software.

• Develop scalable, high-performance backend systems.

• Design and implement algorithms for processing and analyzing large-scale data.

• Collaborate closely with Cyber Researchers to transform research prototypes into production features.

• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Participate in architecture and technical design decisions.

• Support production deployments, troubleshooting, and continuous product improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience, including military service in a technological unit.

• Strong experience developing backend applications using C#/.NET.

• Experience with one or more additional programming languages such as Python, Go, C++, or Java.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, algorithms, and data structures.

• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems.

• Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, HTTP, sockets, etc.).

• Experience developing backend services and REST APIs.

• Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.

• Strong focus on software performance, scalability, and code quality.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
