About the Role

We're looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and scale enterprise-grade backend systems that power mission-critical applications. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives on solving complex technical challenges, enjoys working across multiple technologies, and has a proven track record of delivering scalable, cloud-native solutions.

You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to architect high-performance services, improve system reliability, and drive engineering best practices while contributing to the evolution of our backend platform.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, enterprise-level backend applications and services.
• Build robust REST APIs and contribute to API architecture and integration strategies across distributed systems.
• Architect solutions that prioritize scalability, reliability, fault tolerance, and performance.
• Develop cloud-native applications using AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, and related technologies. (Strong Azure experience is also welcomed.)
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate multiple systems and optimize data flow across platforms.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and DevOps best practices to support reliable production deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex backend challenges related to concurrency, scalability, and system performance.
• Work across multiple programming languages and technologies, including both modern and legacy systems when needed.
• Participate in architectural discussions, technical planning, code reviews, and mentoring within the engineering team.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated career progression in backend or software engineering with increasing technical responsibility and ownership.
• Experience designing, building, and supporting large-scale enterprise backend systems.
• Strong expertise developing and optimizing REST APIs. Experience with GraphQL is a plus.
• Hands-on experience building cloud-native applications using AWS core services (Lambda, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, etc.). Candidates with significant Azure experience are also encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in two or more programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, Go, or .NET.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, performance optimization, and fault-tolerant architectures.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and modern DevOps practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical decisions and architectural tradeoffs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Angular or modern frontend frameworks.
• Knowledge of Oracle, SQL, or other relational database technologies, including large-scale data processing.
• Experience with Docker and containerized application development.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and frameworks that improve engineering productivity.
• Strong understanding of testing strategies, including unit, integration, and performance testing.
