FSQA Digital System Specialist

The ideal candidate combines technical software and systems development skills with an understanding of manufacturing operations and enterprise business systems. While development is the primary focus of this role, the position also shares responsibility for maintaining existing digital solutions and supporting users as the FSQA Digital Systems team continues to expand.
Job Duties:
- Design, develop, configure, and support digital applications, workflows, automation, dashboards, and business logic that improve FSQA and manufacturing operations.
- Translate operational and regulatory requirements into scalable digital solutions while supporting the organization's digital transformation initiatives.
- Develop and support integrations between Quality Management Systems (QMS), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), laboratory systems, and other enterprise platforms.
- Assist in developing automation, data validation routines, APIs, and workflow logic that improve process efficiency, system connectivity, and data accuracy.
- Application Development & Analytics
- Support the development of intelligent digital solutions that automate business processes, evaluate quality records, improve compliance verification, and enhance operational visibility.
- Contribute to data-driven applications, reporting tools, advanced analytics, and emerging technologies that improve decision-making across the organization.
- System Support & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain and enhance existing digital solutions by troubleshooting issues, implementing enhancements, optimizing workflows, and providing technical support to end users.
- Identify opportunities to improve usability, increase automation, simplify business processes, and ensure long-term system stability.
- Project Implementation
- Participate in digital transformation projects through requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, implementation, documentation, training, and post-deployment support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to successfully deliver technical solutions that meet business objectives.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2--5 years of experience developing, configuring, or supporting enterprise business systems, digital applications, or manufacturing technologies.
- Experience with software development, scripting, workflow automation, or business application development using languages such as Python, SQL, JavaScript, Java, C#, or similar.
- Experience working with enterprise databases, APIs, system integrations, or data pipelines.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple technical projects and priorities in a collaborative environment.
- Experience in food manufacturing or another regulated manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting Quality Management Systems (QMS), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), or enterprise data platforms.
- Experience with workflow automation, enterprise analytics, AI-assisted business processes, or intelligent document processing.
- Experience implementing or supporting enterprise software solutions across multiple business locations.
Starting Pay Rate
Pay Rate $90,000.00
