Hays Technology is partnering with a leading organisation in the resources sector to recruit an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join a large-scale technology transformation program.

This position offers the opportunity to work on business-critical applications that support mining operations, digital transformation initiatives, operational systems and enterprise platforms within a complex and technically challenging environment.

We are seeking a developer who combines strong hands-on engineering capability with a passion for building scalable, high-performing software solutions using modern technologies and development practices.


About the Role


As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing and enhancing enterprise-grade applications that support operational and commercial outcomes across a large mining environment.

Working within a collaborative Agile delivery team, you will partner closely with Solution Architects, Technical Leads, Business Analysts and Engineering SMEs to deliver robust, secure and scalable solutions.


Key Responsibilities


  • Design, develop and maintain enterprise-grade backend services and APIs.
  • Deliver complex technical solutions from design through to deployment.
  • Contribute to architecture discussions and solution design decisions.
  • Develop scalable and maintainable applications using modern software engineering practices.
  • Participate in peer reviews, testing, documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support application performance, reliability and system observability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Contribute to front-end development where required using modern JavaScript frameworks.


Essential Skills


  • Strong C# .NET Core development experience
  • Solid experience building RESTful APIs and backend services
  • Entity Framework experience
  • SQL Server and relational database expertise
  • Microservices architecture experience
  • Docker and containerisation experience
  • CI/CD pipeline experience
  • Experience working within Agile development environments
  • Minimum 5 years' commercial software development experience
