Overview
We’re building modern information governance products that help enterprises understand, protect, and manage their data across Microsoft 365 and Azure.
This role is ideal for a strong Azure/.NET engineer who enjoys building real systems used in regulated environments—where security, compliance, and scale actually matter. You’ll work across the Microsoft stack and contribute to AI-enabled features that improve how organizations classify and govern their data.
What You’ll Work On
- Build and maintain cloud-native applications across Azure and Microsoft 365
- Develop integrations with Microsoft Purview for data governance and compliance workflows
- Implement AI-driven features (e.g., classification, discovery) using Azure OpenAI / AI services
- Design and consume APIs and microservices across distributed systems
- Ship features related to data protection (retention, DLP, sensitivity labeling)
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering peers
- Debug and resolve issues in production environments at scale
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in C# / .NET
- Hands-on experience building applications in Microsoft Azure
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange)
- Experience with APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
- Working knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases
- Solid engineering fundamentals (testing, code quality, version control)
- Experience with Microsoft Purview or data governance tools
- Exposure to Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, or similar AI platforms
- Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API
- Experience with Power Platform or automation workflows
- Knowledge of security/compliance concepts (e.g., GDPR, data protection)
- CI/CD experience (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Languages: C#, .NET, TypeScript/JavaScript
- Cloud: Azure, Microsoft 365
- Core Services: Microsoft Graph, Purview, Azure OpenAI (as applicable)
- Other: REST APIs, Git, modern DevOps practices
- Work on real enterprise problems (governance, compliance, security)
- Exposure to AI features, without requiring an ML background
- Deep dive into the Microsoft cloud ecosystem
- Opportunity to influence product direction and architecture
