About The Role
As a .NET Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. This project is with a global Financial Services Provider that focuses on providing responsible credit to underbanked customers in international markets. The current strategy centers on consolidating technology delivery to a single partner to drive efficiency and operational excellence.
You will join the Customer Application. The primary mobile application serves as a critical self-service tool for over 800,000 users. It is currently undergoing a technology refresh, migrating to a modern framework to improve scalability, performance, and accessibility compliance across the organization's European footprint.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex software systems utilizing .NET Core, C#, and REST APIs
- Design and implement microservices architectures and ensure high-quality code through Unit Testing and TDD
- Configure and manage AWS cloud components including IAM, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, SQS, SNS, S3, and API Gateways
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation and maintain comprehensive API documentation using OpenAPI/Swagger
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Azure DevOps pipelines, Git source control, and Scrum methodologies
- Monitor system performance and security using tools like AWS CloudWatch, Kibana, SonarQube, and Snyk
- Minimum 3 years of experience in backend development within complex development environments
- Expertise in .NET Core, C#, REST APIs, and Microservices architecture
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure services and automated deployment methods
- Proficiency in CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps pipelines (YAML) and containerization with Docker
- Experience with testing tools including Appium, Postman, and Unit Testing/TDD frameworks
- Solid understanding of Scrum software development processes and the Product Operating Model
- Valid AWS Certified Developer – Associate certificate as an advantage
- Experience with security scanning tools such as SonarQube and Snyk
- Familiarity with AWS X-Ray, CloudFront, and advanced monitoring dashboards
- Ability to forge close links with architects, analysts, and wider team members to build a quality-driven community
